In the climax of what was probably the worst beginning to winter break in my life yesterday, I lost my iPod touch. I’m not too worried about the data on it—it’s locked, and if someone gets through that, it’ll wipe itself as soon as it’s connected to the Internet.
No, what really annoys me is that now I don’t have an iPod. I’ve been thinking about replacing it with the same model once I can afford to, and wondering if I should heed all the Verizon iPhone rumors and try to wait for that. Of course, if the rumors are right, the iPhone 5 will be just a few months away by then. I don’t want to get in the waiting game again, but it looks like that’s going to happen.
