This whole Higgs boson self-uncreation theory sounds like a great plot for a space-y sci-fi novel. “We need to stop the creation of this particle whose very existence is so abhorrent to nature it will…” but replace “send a ripple back through time preventing itself from being created” with “bring about the explosion, implosion, or otherwise certain annihilation of the universe in a spectacular and deathful way.”
